IPL / LASER HAIR REMOVAL HOUSTON
The advanced hair removal technology we use gives us the flexibility to treat an entire back in as little as 15 minutes per session. Treatment times depend on the amount of area being treated and the quantity of hair. Our IPL technology allows us to treat the most sensitive and delicate areas of the body. Most clients see dramatic hair reduction in as little as one to two treatments although 3-6 treatments are necessary to achieve the results most of our clients desire.
Do not allow yourself to be misled. All research and our own experience has shown that 3-6 hair removal treatments is the minimum number of IPL / Laser hair removal treatments necessary. There are a small number of individuals that are able to achieve the same fantastic results in less treatments, but there is little likelihood of being in that small percentage. There are also a number of people who will need 6-12 treatments to achieve those same hair removal results. Any facility that promises otherwise is attempting to mislead and misinform you. We use the most advanced system available on the market made by the original inventors of IPL technology, the Palomar Starlux, in order to insure the best hair removal results for our clients.
There are a large number of factors that determine the results of your treatments; hormones, age, metabolism, weight and medication. All these factors combine to determine your hair’s thickness, resilience, and areas of growth.
Additionally, IPL / Laser hair removal technology is only able to destroy hair in the active hair growth cycle phase (Anagen). What does this mean? Simply put, there are three hair growth cycles in which your hair is constantly transitioning through; the dormant phase (catagen), the active or growth phase (Anagen), and the fall-out phase (telogen).
All IPL / Laser hair removal technology is only able to treat the Anagen phase, the actively growing hair. This is the reason that several sessions are necessary to achieve the hair removal results you are looking for. Different parts of the body have varying growth cycles, and therefore require being treated at different intervals.

CHEMICAL PEELS
Chemical Peels are a non-invasive procedures that promotes cell growth, and help promote smoother and clearer skin. This treatment involves applying a chemical solution over the entire treatment area. This solution is used to remove the outer layer of the skin, so that smother, glowing and healthier layer of skin can appear.
GloChemical Exfoliations from GloTherapeutics provide the ability to customize treatments for each individual to achieve subtle, gradual or astonishing transformations. Our goal is to properly exfoliate the skin while repairing, rebuilding and renewing to assist during the healing and regeneration process.
You can feel a mild burning sensation, depending on the type of peel is performed; followed by a feeling of numbness or stinging. You can feel some discomfort, swelling, and redness after the treatment. Depending on the type of peel, peeling may occur and can last anywhere from 7 to 14 days. It is very important you protect the treated area from the sun for at least one to two weeks before and after the treatment. You should use sunscreen SPF 30 or higher that protects you against UVB and UVA rays.

MICRODERMABRASION
Microdermabrasion is basically an exfoliation and skin rejuvenation procedure. The treatment is performed by a machine that removes the top layer of the skin, and vacuums away the dead cells. It reduces or eliminates fine facial lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging; it can also improve the appearance of acne scars and other light scarring.
Before the treatment you should refrain from waxing or tanning, and apply sunscreen on a daily basis. You can experience some redness and irritation after the procedure but it should subside within 24 hours. You should avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen and moisturizer for a few days after your treatment.
HYDRAFACIAL
HydraFacial is a breakthrough in aesthetic technology. The HydraFacial takes its name from the root word Hydrate: “to cause to take up moisture”. This ability to moisturize the skin separates the HydraFacial from all other skin resurfacing procedures. The HydraFacial removes dead skin cells and impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.
The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. ACNE

Effects from acne are caused by a combination of factors, including bacteria, clogged pores, inflammation and changes in pigmentation. Our system helps with acne by several methods. Intense Pulsed Light helps prevent acne and correct the effects of acne.
The intense pulsed light penetrates the hyperactive sebaceous glands to slow down the production of sebum. Excessive sebum can clog pores and lead to acne breakouts and inflammation. Bacteria also promote acne. The specific wavelengths of light used in our therapy kills bacteria, allowing a rapid regression of active lesions.
