BOTOX Coming Soon!

Botox is a drug made from a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. The FDA approved Botox for cosmetic procedures in April 2002 to treat moderate to severe glabellar lines, also known as frown lines. These and other wrinkles occur as the muscles under the skin contract, such as when we laugh, smile or frown.

Botox injections temporarily weaken the facial muscles in the area injected and relax the skin's surface thereby removing the wrinkles. It is a very quick procedure, with minimal to no down time. Within days after the procedure, you can see an improvement that can last 3 to 6 months.

When Botox is injected in small doses into specific muscles, it blocks the chemical signals that cause muscles to contract. When the muscles can't tighten, the skin flattens and appears smoother and less wrinkled.

Pre-Session Instructions (Botox)

• Ingestion of alcoholic beverages prior to treatment can increase the chances of bruising and/or swelling.

• To reduce the possibility of bruising and/or swelling in the treated area(s), it is recommended that you avoid taking any anti-inflammatory drugs, such as Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Vioxx, etc.; aspirin, high doses of Vitamin E, or Ginko Biloba; one week prior to the procedure.

• You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding to receive treatment.

Restylane Coming Soon!

Restylane is a safe and natural formulated cosmetic filler. It restores the volume and fullness to the skin, corrects wrinkles and folds. This is a very quick procedure that can make you look years younger in just 15 minutes.

Restylane is a cosmetic derma filler approved by the FDA, made of non-animal- based hyaluronic acid. It is produced as a clear gel and injected directly beneath the surface of the skin.

Restylane treatments can effectively be used to smooth out facial lines, create fuller lips and shape facial contours, such as cheeks and chin. The effect can last from 6 to 12 months.

Pre-Session (Restylane)

• To reduce the possibility of bruising and/or swelling in the treated area(s), it is recommended that you avoid taking any anti-inflammatory drugs, such as Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Vioxx, etc.; aspirin, high doses of Vitamin E, or Ginko Biloba; one week prior to the procedure.

• Consumption of alcoholic beverages prior to treatment can increase the chances of bruising and/or swelling.

• You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding to receive treatment.

• If you have a history of oral herpes, you must pre-treat with an anti-viral three days before your scheduled visit.

Post-Session (Restylane)

• During and after the treatment you can expect slight redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, itching and/or bruising. However, the discomfort is temporary and generally disappears after a few days. With lip enhancement, your lips may be swollen and appear slightly uneven for a few days.

• Cold compresses may be used immediately after treatment to reduce swelling.

• Avoid touching the treated area within 6 hours of treatment. After that, the area can be gently washed with soap and water.

• Avoid sun exposure (sun lamp or sun bathing) or extreme cold weather; until the redness and / or swelling are no longer present.

• Avoid taking aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, and high doses of Vitamin E supplements for one week after treatment. This may increase the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site.

• Avoid lasers, microdermabrasion, or IPL procedures over the treated area(s) for a minimum of two weeks after treatment.

Juvederm Coming Soon!

This treatment involves injecting a gel under the wrinkle or deep facial line to push the wrinkle outward, thereby, making it fuller and less noticeable, giving you a more vibrant and younger looking appearance.

Juvιderm™ is a non-animal derma filler made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in your skin. Juvederm helps to add volume, smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, and redefines lips.

Juvιderm™ is the first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler that has demonstrated its safety and effectiveness for skin of all types and colors. This injectable gel is a nonsurgical treatment that requires no allergy skin test and minimal recovery or downtime.

You should see an immediate improvement in the treatment areas. Most clients need one treatment to achieve optimal wrinkle smoothing, and the results last up to 12 months or more. However, results may vary and correction is temporary. Supplemental “touch up” treatments are generally required to achieve and maintain optimal results.
